Terms and Conditions for Custom WordPress Website Offer

Welcome to Chris Hurst Design! By purchasing my custom WordPress website package, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your order.

1. General Terms

1.1. The custom WordPress website package is available at $637, inclusive of:

• Domain registration for the first year.
• Web hosting for the first year.
• Up to 3 professional email addresses.
• Monthly backups for the first year.
• Custom website design and development for up to 5 pages.

1.2. A special discount of 50% is available for the first 50 customers, reducing the price to $318.50. This offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

1.3. Chris Hurst Design reserves the right to modify or discontinue the offer at any time without prior notice.

2. Payment Terms

2.1. Full payment is required prior to the commencement of any work.

2.2. Payments can be made via PayPal, Venmo, or Stripe.

2.3. Refunds are not provided once work has commenced, due to the custom nature of the services.

3. Website Deliverables

3.1. The package includes the creation of a custom WordPress website with up to 5 pages. Examples of pages may include: Home, About, Services, Blog, and Contact.

3.2. Additional pages can be added by the client using WordPress’s built-in features. Support for this can be provided at an additional cost.

3.3. All websites are designed to be mobile-responsive, fast, and secure. Basic SEO best practices (e.g., optimized headings, alt tags for images, and meta descriptions) will be implemented.

3.4. Content (text, images, and other assets) must be provided by the client unless agreed otherwise. If additional content creation services are required, they will incur extra charges.

4. Hosting and Maintenance

4.1. The package includes fast, secure hosting for the first year.

4.2. Monthly backups are included for the first year to ensure your website is secure.

4.3. After the first year, a fee of $150 per year is required for continued hosting and maintenance. This includes hosting, monthly backups, and basic WordPress updates.

4.4. If the client chooses not to renew the hosting and maintenance package, they will need to transfer the website to their own hosting provider before the renewal period.

5. Email Addresses

5.1. The package includes up to 3 professional email addresses associated with the domain name.

5.2. Email account setup and access details will be provided upon project completion.

5.3. Additional email accounts can be added at an extra cost.

6. Client Responsibilities

6.1. Clients are responsible for providing all required content, including but not limited to:

• Text for pages.
• High-resolution images.
• Branding elements, such as logos or color schemes.

6.2. Timely feedback and approvals are essential to ensure the project remains on schedule.

6.3. Clients agree to maintain the website in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

7. Limitations

7.1. The package does not include advanced customizations, such as custom plugin development, e-commerce functionality, or integrations with third-party systems unless agreed otherwise. Additional charges may apply for such services.

7.2. While basic SEO best practices are implemented, the package does not include advanced SEO services such as keyword research, backlink building, or content marketing.

7.3. The client understands that website performance may be influenced by factors outside Chris Hurst Design’s control, including third-party hosting providers, client-installed plugins, or external integrations.

8. Revisions and Approvals

8.1. Clients are entitled to up to two rounds of revisions during the design and development process. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

8.2. Final approval of the website must be provided by the client before it goes live.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. Upon full payment, the client will own the rights to the completed website, including its design and content.

9.2. Chris Hurst Design reserves the right to showcase the completed website in its portfolio and marketing materials unless the client explicitly requests otherwise.

10. Termination

10.1. Either party may terminate the agreement at any time with written notice. Refunds will not be provided for work already completed.

10.2. Upon termination, all unpaid fees for completed work will become immediately due.

11. Liability

11.1. Chris Hurst Design is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the website.

11.2. While every effort will be made to secure the website, Chris Hurst Design is not liable for security breaches caused by third-party software, client negligence, or external attacks.

12. Disputes

12.1. Any disputes arising under these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

12.2. Both parties agree to resolve disputes in good faith before pursuing legal action.

13. Acceptance

13.1. By purchasing the custom WordPress website package, you agree to these terms and conditions in full.
